Businesses today take environmental and legislative compliance seriously and environmental monitoring is extremely important in modern day strategy. Sensitive equipment is found everywhere and the loss of such equipment can be very costly; Datacenters and hospitals for example both hold equipment that is sensitive to environmental change. This means that it is vital to monitor the environment on site to watch for potential issues with temperature, air conditioning and water damage.

Our solutions allow facilities to monitor the environmental activity in real-time through data readings, camera images and the ability to immediately configure ths system should a problem appear. The NEXTEC’s Environmental Monitoring Solution monitors the environment and also alerts you when a bad condition appears to ensure you can react quickly to prevent damage and save equipment.

Air Conditioner Sequencing

Several inputs are needed to calculate the best option. Some of the inputs used are needed to assess the air conditioning units and determine if any changes need to be made.
Turn On or Off the air-conditioner according to the room temperature
In case the site is on batteries and the temperature exceeds a pre-defined threshold (remotely configurable), the control unit will turn on the generator and when room temperature is within the pre-defined thresholds, the site will continue to run on batteries
Cycling of multiple air-conditioning units is also possible through the air-con control unit

Monitoring Parameters include:

  • Cooling and Heating
  • Remote turn On/Off
  • State of Air-Con
  • Temperature
  • Multiple zone control
  • Cost Prediction
  • Forced Ventilation
  • Climate Change

Air Quality Monitoring

  • Detect Undesired Gases
  • Carbon Monoxide (CO)
  • Sulfur Dioxide (SO2)
  • Nitric Oxide (NO)
  • Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)
  • Methane (CH4)
  • Particles and Dust
  • Monitor and Manage Air-Flow
  • Maintain Optimal Temperature
  • Keep you humidity in Check
